"The Problem with Packing Cubes"
Hello All, My name is Alexander Milton, A passionate traveller and the founder of JUUWU, I created JUUWU because I got tired of living out of a mess.
At 21, I packed my bag and set off to see the world. Like every eager traveler, I'd done my research – bought the "highly recommended" packing cubes, followed all advice I could find, and thought I was prepared for life on the road.
Reality hit differently.
Sure, my clothes were compressed, but looking like a sad old teddy stuffed to the bottom of my bag. I was still rummaging through multiple cubes every morning, unpacking and repacking constantly, and living out of a chaotic backpack. There had to be a better way.
I scoured the market for alternatives. I tried every organizational system I could find – compression bags, roll-up organizers, different cube configurations. Nothing truly addressed what I needed: a way to pack efficiently, access everything easily, and actually unpack in seconds when I arrived somewhere new.
That's when I decided to stop searching and start creating.
"Building What Didn't Exist"
When I couldn't find what I needed, I decided to build it myself.
The Walkabout Wardrobe came from months of trial and error, testing prototypes in real hostels, on actual trips, in the conditions where it needed to perform. I designed it to do what no other product could – pack efficiently, maximize space by up to 30%, and transform from packed to unpacked in literal seconds.
No more digging. No more chaos. Just hang it up and you've completely unpacked.
